A mobile service is simply more convenient. There's no dropping the car off, no arranging a lift home and no sitting in a waiting room. We work around your schedule and come to you, which is why mobile remapping is at the heart of what S7 Remaps does.

You get the same professional process you'd expect from a workshop — proper diagnostics, a secure backup of your original file, a custom-tuned calibration and post-remap testing — carried out at a time and place that suits you.

We agree a time and location that works for you. On the day we arrive with all the equipment needed, run a diagnostic health check, back up your factory file, write your new calibration and then verify the results before we leave. Most appointments take around an hour.

To carry out a remap safely at your location, we usually need:

Writing to an ECU needs a stable power supply, so battery condition matters. A weak or failing battery can interrupt programming, which is something we always guard against. We monitor voltage and use appropriate support during the write to keep the process safe.

If your battery is very weak, we'll let you know — it's a small thing that protects both your car and the quality of the remap.
